Marked permanently closed by mistake
If your profile was marked permanently closed by mistake, you can reopen it from the Hours section. One exception: profiles closed as part of a move or name change.

Reopen the profile
- Sign in to your Business Profile and select Edit profile.
- Go to Hours.
- Select Open with main hours and check the hours.

Do not reopen after a move or name change
If the profile was marked permanently closed because the business moved or changed its name, Google says not to reopen it. Add the new business, verify it, and contact Google support to have the reviews moved (Reopen your business on Google). See also moved location and name change.
Temporary closure instead
- Temporarily closed is for closures longer than 7 days, off-season, or with no end date. For 7 days or less, use special hours.
- Google says temporarily closed businesses may rank after open ones for broad searches.
- Google may email you when it receives an update that your location is temporarily closed.

FAQ
Will my reviews come back when I reopen?
Reopening changes the status of the same profile; it is not a new one. After a move or name change, Google says to create and verify a new profile and contact support to have reviews moved.
Should I mark the business closed for a two-week holiday?
Google says temporarily closed is for more than 7 days. A two-week closure fits; for 7 days or less use special hours.
Does temporary closure hurt ranking?
Google says temporarily closed businesses may appear after open ones for broad searches.
