Reinstatement request rejected
A rejected appeal is not always the end, but your options are narrow. Google says appeals can only be submitted once, so the next step has to bring something new.
Not sure which rule you broke?
Start with the free suspension risk checker: answer 13 quick questions and get a risk score plus the Google rule and fix guide behind each point. Nothing is sent to us.
Or let a person do it: ProfileRescue checks your listing and website against each guideline, ranks the likely causes for your case and writes the appeal text plus an evidence checklist, in English and Spanish, as a PDF for €29 (launch price, €49 from 1 Dec 2026). We cannot reinstate profiles or remove reviews, and we say so plainly.
What Google offers after a denial
- The appeals tool shows a status for each decision, such as Submitted, Approved, Not approved, Can't be appealed or Eligible for appeal (Fix suspended or disabled profiles).
- Google describes how to request an additional review of a denied request by providing new evidence. Sending the same documents again is unlikely to change anything.
- If you are in the European Economic Area, Google lists additional redress options on the same help page.
- If your whole Google account is restricted, not just the profile, Google says to appeal the account restriction first.
Why appeals usually fail
- The cause was never fixed (the keywords are still in the name, the virtual office address is still there).
- The name or address on the documents doesn't match the profile.
- The evidence doesn't show a real location: no signage, no street, photos that could be anywhere.
- The business doesn't meet the eligibility rules at all (for example, no in-person contact with customers).
What to do now
- Find the real cause using Google's policy link in the appeals tool and our free self-check.
- Fix it on the profile, your website and your signage.
- Collect new evidence that answers that cause directly.
- Request the additional review with that new evidence.
What not to do
- Don't create a new profile. Google says not to.
- Don't pay anyone who promises guaranteed reinstatement or "contacts at Google". Only Google decides.
FAQ
Can I appeal again after a rejection?
Google says appeals can only be submitted once, but it describes requesting an additional review of a denied request with new evidence.
How do I know why it was rejected?
The appeals tool shows the reason with a link to the policy. Start there, then compare your profile against that policy.
Can someone guarantee reinstatement?
No. Only Google decides. Be careful with anyone who promises it.
